In order to redeem a warranty for a Kichler ceiling fan, you must be the original owner or purchaser of the fan. If you have purchased a fan used from another owner, you cannot do a warranty redeemal. So, if you have purchased your fan second hand, or say that the fan came with your home, you may not be able to redeem the warranty. With that being said, replacement parts are generally not over expensive. If the part you need is not available in a store, or you have a really old fan, it’s also possible that the fan may not be covered under warranty or the manufacturer may not have the parts available. You will want to follow the instructions from Kichler in terms of redeeming the warranty, or potentially reach out to Kichler technical support/customer support for assistance. We can help by providing Kichler’s support contact phone number details.
LED lights and what powers them is referred to by Kichler’s warranty as “light engines.” The light engines and electrical components are covered under warranty by Kichler for up to five years from the date of purchase. However, the electrical components must be installed in a single family residence by the original purchaser. Commercial purchasers have a three year period from the date of purchase instead of five.
